The prayer sought for in the writ petition is for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned notice vide Aa3/3715/16, dated 10.01.2017 passed by the second respondent, quash the same and issue consequential direction directing the respondents to restore the dislodged drinking water connection to the petitioner's house of Door No.2/128 situated at Keezhapillaiyar Kovil Street, Oormelalikiyan Post, Kadayanallur https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned order of the second respondent, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.02.2017 and 01.03.2017.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent, on instructions, would submit that now there is a water scarcity and after the present water crisis is over, the second respondent would consider the restoration of water service connection to the petitioner.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 22.02.2017 and 01.03.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
