ORDER

The petitioners have filed a petition in R.L.T.O.P.No. 10 of 2022 before the Principal District Munsif Court, Madurai, as against the respondent / tenant for eviction and for recovery of rent including arrears.

2.Learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that as per Section 36(6)(a) of the TNRLT Act, any application filed under Sections 21(2)(a), (b) & (c) of the Act has to be disposed of within a period of 90 days from the date of filing. However, the application filed by them is being adjourned repeatedly at the instance of the respondent and therefore, prays for a direction for speedy disposal. 3.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on either side. 4.This Court has perused the B-Diary extract. It appears that the case is being adjourned for the statement of objection of the respondent. Though the petitioners are expressing certain urgency in disposing of the petition filed by them, this Court is not aware of the pendency / work pressure of the Principal District Munsif Court, Madurai. Therefore, the trial Court shall endeavor to dispose of the petition in R.L.T.O.P.No.10 of 2022, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

With the above direction, this civil revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
