ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(c) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.399 of 2017, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 25.11.2017, the respondent police conducted the raid in front of the petitioner's house and found three pockets of ganja, totally to the tune of 26.00 kgms of ganja. Hence, the case has been registered. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is pending. 5.Taking note of the serious allegation made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
