: Contemnors/Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for their willful and deliberate disobedience to the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.10643 of 2014, dated 18.12.2018.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent relating to his memo Na.Ka. No.AE7/45854/2014 dated 29.05.2014 and quash the last paragraph of the orders dated 29.05.2014 and consequently direct the respondents to pay 18% interest fro the delayed payment of all the retiremetn benefits referred to in the impugned orders dated 29.05.2014 under Item Nos.1 to 6 within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Writ Appeal filed as against the order passed in W.P.(MD) No.10643 of 2014 is dismissed. It is further stated that a further direction is given by modifying the order passed by the Single Judge of this Court regarding disbursement of amount due to the petitioner. Time is also given to comply with the order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order in the Writ Appeal. In such circumstances, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to proceed against the respondents based on the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench, in case, the order is not complied with within the time stipulated. No costs.
