This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's last representation, dated 13.03.2017 and consequently, direct the third respondent to erect the EB connection in the petitioner's Dwelling house No.4/864 vide Survey No.1094/2B of South Malaiyadipatti Village. Thiruvenkadam Taluk, Tirunelveli District through the common path which was available in Survey No.1113/1C.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for T.N.E.B., appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr. G.Kasinathadurai, learned Standing Counsel for T.N.E.B., takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.03.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
