The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.08.2016 to the respondent for providing permission and police protection to conduct Cricket Tournament, which has not yet been considered by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

2. Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of by the petitioner dated 19.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 26.08.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
