Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant patta in her favour in respect of Survey No.No.36/2 UDR Survey No.150/11 measuring an extent of 00.00.78 sq. ft. situated at Sinthupatty Sub-Registration Office, Poruppu Mettupatty Village, Usilampatty Taluk, Madurai District.

3. It is her case that she purchased the said property on 11.04.2011 from the erstwhile owner and applied for patta, which has not been granted so far. It is seen that the petitioner has made a representation on 26.10.2015 before the second respondent and the said representation is said to be still pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the second

respondent to consider the said representation, dated 26.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
