The petitioners, who are the in-laws and husband of the respondent filed this quash petition to quash D.V.No.5 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate (Additional Mahila Court), Trichy, filed by respondent. 1/3

2. As per the Hon'ble Full Bench judgment in Arul Daniel Vs. Suganya reported in 2022 4 MLJ (Crl) 561, the petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash DVOP proceedings is not maintainable.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file appropriate petition before the appropriate forum in terms of the above Honourable Full Bench Judgment. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
