Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent.

2.The challenge made in this Writ Petition is against the enquiry notice issued to the petitioner by the first respondent calling upon him and other persons to appear for an enquiry on 22.12.2015 in respect of patta proceedings.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in pursuant to the notice issued by the first respondent, the petitioner made objections on 28.12.2015 and again on 04.01.2016 and the first respondent has adjourned the matter for further hearing.

4. Since it is only an enquiry notice that too calling upon the petitioner to attend for an enquiry on 22.12.2015, which enquiry also has been, admittedly, attended by the petitioner, I find nothing survives in this Writ Petition to be adjudicated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

upon, as it is purely an enquiry notice calling upon the petitioner to attend the enquiry on a particular date. As the said date of enquiry is also over, I do not think the petitioner can maintain this Writ Petition any further. Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, only with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the first respondent, if any adversely made against him, in the manner known to law by raising all the grounds. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
