[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] This contempt petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to punish the contemnors/appellants for wanton and willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.A(MD) No. 1240 of 2022, dated 11.09.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and consequently, an incentive increment has been paid by way of one-time lumpsum 2/4

amount to the petitioners. In this regard, the District Educational Officer (Secondary Grade), Sivagangai, issued an order dated 22.05.2024, which was addressed to the Secretary, Sri Meenakshi Girls Higher Secondary School, Karaigudi.
