ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 4th respondent to conduct inquiry and issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Survey No.390/9B1 at Akkiyampatty Village, Palayapalayam Post, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2025

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezhian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6

According to the petitioner, his grandfather Chinnanan purchased 0.90 hectares of land in S.No.390/9B1 in Akkiyampatty Village, Palayapalayam Post, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District under a registered Sale Deed dated 23.07.1950. After the death of the petitioner's grandfather patta was transferred in favour of the petitioner's father only in respect of 0.24 hectares instead of a total extent of 0.90 hectares. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the respondents on 03.06.2025 seeking issuance of patta in respect of entire land purchased by his grandfather. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.06.2025 will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
