ORDER
(This writ petition is heard through video conference) This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate appropriate action against the 4th respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2021.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, it was found that it is a civil dispute between the parties. So the parties were advised to work out their remedy through civil proceedings and the complaint has been closed 16.08.2021.

W.P.(MD).No.16167 of 2021 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the police cannot unilaterally close the complaint. But the reading of the closure report shows that the petitioner has also been enquired. On that basis the above said statement was given. Since the complaint has been closed observing that there is a civil dispute, the petitioner has to work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this writ petition.
4.With the above liberty this writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
