ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.12.2015 to issue patta in favour of the petitioner's land in Survey No.424/1C and 424/2C situated at Chakkarakottai Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk and District.

2.Today, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that land acquisition proceedings have already been initiated against the above said lands and the said lands have been acquired by the Government of Tamil Nadu to provide house sites to Adi Dravidars and Section 4(1) notification was issued on 26.09.1998. Subsequently, a declaration was also issued on 25.11.1999 under Section 6 of the Act. Thereafter, an award has also been passed in favour of the petitioner and the entire amount has been deposited before the Civil Court. In the above circumstances, the representation of the petitioner cannot be considered for the above said relief.
