ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to investigate the matter and file a final report in Crime No.398 of 2018.

2.The petitioner herein is the defacto complainant in this case. Based on a complaint given by the defacto complainant, a First Information Report has been registered in Crime No.398 of 2018 on 20.12.2018. So far no investigation has been conducted and no final report has been filed by the respondent Police, hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the investigation is almost over and the respondent Police will file a final report within a period of two months.

4.Recording the above said submission, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.398 of 2018 and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is closed.
