ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the property in S.No.319/40 with an extent of 0.08.50 Hectors at Madukkur North Village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) who takes notice for the 3rd respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6

4. According to the petitioner, the subject property belongs to him and the Patta for the said property also stands in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.876. He submitted a representation before the 1st respondent on 14.05.2025, seeking survey of the subject property.

5. It is seen from the E-Challan dated 28.11.2024 produced in the typed set of papers, the petitioner paid necessary service charges. Inspite of the same, the respondents have not considered the representation of the petitioner to survey the subject property and hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

6. M/s.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner has not submitted proper online application to date and therefore, his request has not been considered.

In view of the said submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2, the petitioner is directed to produce acknowledgment for having submitted an online application before the 1st respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On production of such acknowledgment, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a further period of eight (8) weeks thereafter, after issuing notice to the neighboring owners and other interested parties.

8. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
