O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 1st respondent to monitor or supervise the investigation being conducted by the 2nd respondent with regard to the case in crime No.296 of 2017 dated 07.06.2016 under Section 380 of I.P.C. on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though a complaint has been registered as early as on 07.06.2017 for the offence under Section 380 of I.P.C., the respondent police has not taken any action to investigation the matter and arrest the accused persons and also recover the jewels. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner has got CCTV footage of the occurrence and other evidence. Hence, he approached this Court by filing this petitioner for the relief stated supra.
3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the investigation is conducted by the respondent police in a proper manner. He would further submit that the respondent police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
CRL.O.P (MD) No.12216 of 2019 shall interrogate the CCTV footage and other evidence to be submitted by the petitioner and they shall file the final report within a time stipulated by this Court.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to issue the following order: "The petitioner is permitted to submit the relevant CCTV footages and other evidence before the 2nd respondent for interrogation and after receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent enquire the complaint and file the final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
