ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The Criminal Original Petition is filed to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to the second respondent vide order dated 07.03.2025, in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.21899 of 2024 on the file of this Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant. This Court vide order dated 07.03.2025, in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.21899 of 2024, granted anticipatory bail to the second respondent based on a compromise wherein the petitioner had agreed to marry the defacto complainant. However, the second respondent has now refused to marry the defacto complainant and threatened her to withdraw the complaint. Therefore, the second respondent violated the 2/5

condition imposed by this Court in the anticipatory bail petition. Hence, he seeks to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to the second respondent.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent-Police.

4.Considering the above facts and circumstances and taking note of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the second respondent refused to marry the defacto complainant and threatened her to withdraw the complaint and also taking note of the fact that the second respondent violated the conditions imposed in the anticipatory bail petition, this Court is inclined to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to the second respondent.

5.In the result, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the anticipatory bail granted to the second respondent in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.21899 of 2024, dated 07.03.2025, is hereby cancelled.
