ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.The petitioner is a tenant under the fourth respondent. There was a dispute between the landlord and tenant, based on a complaint given by the fourth respondent, the third respondent Police is harassing the petitioner and also threatening him to vacate the premises. Hence, the present complaint has been filed. 3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that based on a complaint given by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the fourth respondent alleging that the petitioner is threatening him with dire consequences, an enquiry has been conducted by the third respondent Police and the petitioner and the fourth respondent appeared for enquiry and given a statement that they will work out their remedy before the concerned Civil forum. The respondent Police recorded the statement and closed the complaint. 4.Considering the fact that the complaint given by the fourth respondent has been enquired and closed based on the statement given by the parties, the third respondent is directed not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 5.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
