PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C.,to direct the 2nd Respondent herein to provide necessary Police Protection, to the life and limb of the petitioners herein on the basis of their representation dated 18.09.2018. O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for Police protection. 2.The petitioners are the husband and wife and it was an inter-caste marriage and therefore, there was a threat from the parents of the second petitioner. The petitioners had given a representation to the respondent Police on 18.09.2018. The respondent Police had enquired the parties on the representation made to them, seeking for Police protection and had also taken statements from the petitioners.

3.In the facts and circumstances of the case, this court deems it fit to provide Police protection to the petitioners. Hence, the there shall be a direction the second respondent to provide Police protection to the petitioners. The second respondent is further directed to take appropriate action against those persons, who attempt to cause threat to the life and limb of the petitioners and proceed against them in accordance with law. 4.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
