O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2020 and give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an octogenarian. He would further submit that the petitioner was running a textile mill in the name of 'Krishakanth Textiles' at Dindigul. Due to financial crisis, the petitioner borrowed loan from the third respondent. For which, the third respondent demanded blank cheque as security purpose. Even though, petitioner has settled the entire loan amount to the third respondent, the third respondent did not return the said blank cheque. When the same was questioned by the petitioner, the third respondent abused the petitioner and also criminally intimidated him with filthy language. Therefore, the petitioner made a complaint before the second respondent. But, the second respondent refused to entertain the petitioner's complaint. Hence, the petitioner filed this present petition.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13219 of 2020 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that after receiving the complaint, CSR.No.467 of 2020 was issued on 10.11.2020 and enquiry was conducted and finding that the complaint was lodged as there was a money dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, the same was closed on 13.11.2020, directing the parties to approach the civil forum.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved, he is directed to approach the appropriate forum for his remedy.
