: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay salary to the petitioner as well as extend the tenure of appointment of the petitioner as guest lecture (hourly basis) in the department of Tamil in the 3rd respondent's College, based on the petitioner,s representation dated 04.07.2016.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has given a letter, dated 11.11.2016, to the Registry to withdraw this writ petition, which reads as follows:- "I am the counsel on record for the petitioner in the case in W.P(MD)No.15945/2016 on the file of this Hon'ble Court and it was admitted by this Hon'ble High https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Court on 26.08.2016 and notice also issued to the respondent.

In the above matter the petitioner instructed me to withdraw the above W.P(MD)No.15945/2016. Kindly direct the Registry to post the matter before the Hon'ble Court tomorrow (14.11.2016) enabling me to withdraw the same."

He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2.In view of the letter given and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are dismissed.
