This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to permit petitioner to erect temporary decorative arches from Thickanamcode Junction to Kolvai in connection with Church of Our Lady of Assumption festival scheduled from 06.08.2022 to 15.08.2022 by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.07.2022. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner sent a representation, dated 13.07.2022, seeking permission to erect temporary decorative arches from Thickanamcode Junction to Kolvai in connection with Church of Our Lady of Assumption festival scheduled from 06.08.2022 to 15.08.2022. But, till now no action has been taken. Hence this petition has been filed.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the respondent police is ready to consider the petitioner's representation.

4.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to consider the representation, dated 13.07.2022.
