ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue a non-traceable certificate on the basis of the petitioner's representations dated 28.03.2026 and 12.05.2026.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, he had lost the sale deeds and had lodged a complaint on 28.03.2026 before the second respondent Police for issuance of a non-traceable certificate. According to him, even though he had appeared before the respondents on several occasions, the issue is being delayed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner had not appeared in person and that they had received the complaint only through online mode.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner had already submitted the paper publication and Notary Public affidavit, the second respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The 2/4

petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent in person and place on record all the relevant documents for issuance of the certificate.
