Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the detention order passed by the second respondent in No.38/BCDFGISSSV/2021, dated 26.08.2021 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to produce the body or person of Mr.Sankarapandi @ Sankar, S/o.Paramasivam, aged 32 years, confined in Central Prison, Palayamkottai before this Court and set him at liberty.

Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.5059, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 28.10.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
