ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide police protection for fencing the petitioner's land.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property bearing S.Nos.263/9A, 263/9B, 263/10A, 263/10B, 261/2B, 263/2C, 263/12B, 263/15 and 263/14 and the same was got surveyed by the Revenue Inspector and in that regard, a report dated 11.06.2023 is filed. It is submitted further that when the petitioner intends to fence the land, some persons unconnected to the land have been trying to prevent the petitioner, therefore sought for suitable protection.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 23.06.2023, the police were directed to visit the spot and see that who has obstructed the petitioner from fencing the land, but no report is filed so far. 2/4

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner by visiting the land belonging to the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Petition is disposed of.
