PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.75 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused herein, who was arrested on 29.05.2022 for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 307, 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No.75 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the the petitioner and the defacto complainant's daughter are husband and wife. Due to matrimonial dispute, on 29.05.2022 at 06.00am, the accused scolded the defacto complainant's daughter with filthy language, caused injury to his wife with knife and also threatened her with dire consequences. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. The injured has been discharged from the hospital.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that though injured has been discharged on 09.06.2022, due to severe injuries, she is still in the bad condition and the Doctor, who treated her has stated that the life span of the victim is too short. On that ground, the previous three bail petitions filed by the petitioner was dismissed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Theni. Hence, prays to dismiss the petition.

5.Considering the gravity of the offence and serious injuries sustained by the petitioner and also considering the vehement objection raised by the respondent Police, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
