ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition to prevent the fifth respondent from conducting Valli Thirumana Nadagam during the temple festival of Arulmigu Shri Paranachiyamman Temple festival situated at Keela Oorani, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District. However, the petitioner has not offered any proper reasoning for the objection. 2/6
2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents submits that in view of the objection of this petitioner, they have already issued a direction that the villagers shall celebrate the temple festival and there shall not be any event pursuant to the temple festival.
3.It appears that the fifth respondent has filed a writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.13784 of 2025, seeking permission for conducting Valli Thirumana Nadagam and this Court by an order dated 30.04.2025, permitted the fifth respondent to conduct Valli Thirumana Nadagam. 4.The petitioner has not offered any plausible explanation for preventing the fifth respondent from conducting Valli Thirumana Nadagam. The proposed event is only Valli Thirumana Nadagam. In the event, if the petitioner is having any grievance, then the petitioner need not participate in the said event. For the grievance of the petitioner, the festival and its events cannot be prevented. The 3/6
respondent Police shall provide adequate police protection to ensure that the festival and other events are conducted in a peaceful manner. In the event, if the petitioner wants to perform any events, it is always open to him to do the same, without causing any law and order problem. If anybody is taking the law into their hands, necessary action has to be taken against those persons by registering a criminal case.
5.With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
