ORDER

The present criminal original petition is filed seeking a direction to the Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Thoothukudi District to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender in Crime No.80 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. The petitioner is facing allegations under SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Thoothukudi District, to consider the bail application of the petitioner in Crime No.80 of 2026 on the file of the 2/4

second respondent police and to accept his surrender on or before 11.06.2026 after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.

3. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
