: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the 5th respondent in his proceedings in O.Mu.No.2997/A3/2015 dated 27.11.2015 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the official respondents to approve petitioner's promotion in 6th respondent school as Junior Assistant from the date of promotion on 19.8.2013 and to pay all the service and monetary benefits accordingly within stipulated time.

O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner has given a letter, dated 09.11.2016, to the Registry to withdraw this writ petition, which reads as follows:- "The petitioner in W.P(MD)No.160 of 2016 wants to withdraw his petition so as to enable the authorities to redress his grievance.

Hence, it is humbly prayed that your goodself may be pleased to direct the registry to list W.P(MD)No.160 of 2016 for withdrawal and thus render justice. " He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2.In view of the letter given and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
