Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, Government Advocate(Crl.side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.83/2024 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324, 506(2) and 427 IPC r/w Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.83 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 1/3

2.The case of the prosecution is that there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioners and the defacto complainant, in which, the petitioners abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also attacked the defacto complainant and his wife with iron rod and caused injuries.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocents persons and they did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police opposes to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners on the ground that the injured person is still taking treatment in the hospital. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering that the injured person is still taking treatment in the hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
