PETITION FOR BAIL Under Sec.483 of BNSS PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.137 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.04.2026 for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 351(3) and 109 of BNS, 2023 and Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.137 of 2026, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity between the accused persons and the de-facto complainant, on 24.04.2026 at about 01.00 p.m., the accused persons abused the defacto complainant in filthy language, attacked her and also damaged her property. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he seeks bail.
4.The learned Counsel for the State of Tamil Nadu (Crl. side) strongly opposed to grant bail on the ground that the petitioner has thirteen previous cases, in which eight cases are pending and five cases were already disposed of.
5.Considering the nature and seriousness of the offences alleged and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner is having eight pending previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed. (K M S J) 27.05.2026 SJI 3/4
