(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue Community Certificate to the petitioner's minor children namely, Minor P.Deena Dayaalan and Minor P.Dhevasorupa to the effect that they belong to the Hindu Kattunayakan (ST) Community, in the light of the proceedings of the Tamil Nadu State Level Scrutiny Committee, in the proceedings, dated 24.02.2020, in the case of the petitioner's brother M.Ragul.

Mr.V.Vijaya Shankar, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Tamil Nadu State Level Scrutiny Committee, in its proceedings, dated 24.02.2020, had decided the issue with regard to the issuance of Kattunayakan (ST) Community Certificate in favour of the petitioner's brother namely M.Ragul and therefore, the petitioner's minor children are also entitled for the same Community Certificate.

Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that since the petitioner's brother has been issued with Kattunayakan (ST) Community, the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application for the issuance of Community Certificate to his minor children, dated 19.07.2021, in the light of the proceedings of the State Level Scrutiny Committee, dated 24.02.2020, within a period of six weeks.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing on either side, we direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's application, dated 19.07.2021 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, taking into consideration the proceedings of the State Level Scrutiny Committee, dated 24.02.2020, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
