Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose the petitioner's application, dated 17.11.2016 seeking issuance of separate patta in respect of his landed property to an extent of 95 cents comprised in Survey No.421/6, situated at Ambathurai Village, Authoor Taluk, Dindigul District, by making necessary sub-division after giving notice to all the parties concerned.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to dispose of his application, dated 17.11.2016, wherein he has sought for issuance of separate patta in respect of the land referred to in the writ petition.

4. Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider the said claim of the petitioner and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing rival claimants if any. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 5.Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the

matter, I only direct the respondent to consider the above application of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, also after hearing the rival claimants if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
