ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry and consequently, direct the 2nd respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Counsel for State of TN (Crl.Side) submits that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, an FIR came to be registered in Crime No.12 of 2026 dated 16.05.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 417 and 420 of IPC. He has produced a copy of the FIR.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands 2/5

dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in the manner known to law.
