This writ petition has been filed for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent Nos.4 to 6 to consider the representation made by the petitioner and to provide free house site Patta to the petitioner in Survey No.2/3B to an extent of 1.5 cents in Block No.1 Ward No.6 Vellaikovil Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District in the light of the Government Order in Revenue Department in G.O.Ms.No.318 2/5
dated 30.08.2019.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.Taking into considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of this petition, there shall be a direction to the 6th respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 02.09.2020 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 6th respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
