ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.) This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to complete the departmental proceedings pending against the petitioner pursuant to the charge memo issued to the petitioner by the second respondent.

2.Heard Mr.R.Maheswaran, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Samidurai, learned Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The facts in this case are not in dispute. It is admitted that a charge memo was issued to the petitioner in 2018. The grievance of the petitioner is that no Enquiry Officer is appointed sofar. It is further stated that the petitioner has submitted an explanation to the second respondent.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer that is sought before this Court, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the 2/4

merits of the petitioner's contentions, direct the second respondent to complete the departmental proceedings pending against the petitioner pursuant to the charge memo issued to the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
