ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue Birth Certificate by substituting the name of the petitioner's second husband namely K.Chorna Raj instead of K.Mohanraj in the Birth Certificate of the petitioner's son namely C.Varun in the light of the DNA test report, dated 12.04.2025, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.05.2025.
2.The petitioner had filed a writ petition earlier and this Court has dismissed the same, since the petitioner had to prove the paternity through DNA test. The petitioner has followed the order of this Court and has underwent DNA test. The DNA test report, dated 12.04.2025, is issued to the petitioner. Now, the respondents ought to consider the claim of the petitioner in the light of the DNA test report, dated 12.04.2025.
3.The 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's claim in the light of the DNA test report, dated 12.04.2025 within a period of four weeks 2/4
from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
