O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is preferred by the revision petitioner/wife for a direction to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.856 of 2019 on the file of the Family Court, Madurai, in a speedy manner, within a time to be stipulated by this Court since the said H.M.O.P. is pending from the year 2019. Page No. 1 of 4

2. It is stated that though the said H.M.O.P. was preferred in the year 2019, till date, on the side of the respondent/husband, no counter is filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

4. The revision petitioner/wife has preferred H.M.O.P.No.856 of 2019 under Section 13(1)(1-a)(1-b) of the Hindu Marriages Act, 1955, before the Family Court, Madurai for divorce, while so, the respondent/husband has filed H.M.O.P.No.216 of 2020 before the same Court for restitution of conjugal rights. Both the H.M.O.Ps. are said to have been pending before the Family Court, Madurai from 2019 and 2020 respectively without any progress.

5. It is submitted that no counter has been filed in H.M.O.P.No.856 of 2019 till date and the respondent/husband is making attempt to drag on the proceedings by not filing the counter in time.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Family Judge, Madurai is directed to dispose of both H.M.O.Ps. filed by the revision petitioner and the respondent together, expeditiously, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No cost.
