This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to the respondent police to grant permission to the petitioner for conducting a demonstration on 22.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. In view of the above, the prayer that has been sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
