ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court for the relief to direct the first respondent to reissue the passport to the petitioner.

2. Mr.R.M.Arun Swaminathan, learned Central Government Standing Counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the second respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent would submit that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.22 of 2018, dated 01.03.2018, for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324, 353, 506(2) of IPC and Section 4(1)(i) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, before the second respondent and the petitioner was charge sheeted. 2/4

4. It is further submitted that the case has been taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Singampunari, Sivagangai in C.C.No.374 of 2019 and the trial has been commenced in the said case.

5. Having considered the arguments advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose of this Writ Petition by permitting the petitioner to move suitable application before the concerned Court for appropriate order to facilitate the process of passport application of the petitioner before the first respondent.
