Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 29.06.2018, 25.07.2018 and 16.08.2018 and to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to take necessary and appropriate action against the 6th respondent in connection with the spurious jewel scam at Canara Bank, Oddanchatram Branch, Dindigul District.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 7 and 8 submitted that with regard to the issue raised by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Cr.No.26 of 2018 on the file of the District Crime Branch, Dindigul.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 6 / Bank also submitted that the representation of the petitioner was considered and appropriate action was already taken, by way of terminating the jewel appraiser and also by way of transferring another officer concerned.

3.Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
