PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in 1/5
Cr.No.899 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent No.3 and entrust the same to any other Police Official other than the Respondent No.3 to complete the investigation in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
For petitioner : Mr.B.Dhanasekaran For R-1 to R-4 : Mr.P.Kottaichamy, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) O RDER This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.899 of 2022 on the file of the third respondent and entrust the same to any other Police Official other than the third respondent to complete the investigation in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The case of the prosecution is that due to wordy quarrel arose between the petitioner and the accused persons, the accused persons attacked the petitioner. Thereby, the petitioner preferred a case against the accused persons before the respondent Police and the respondent Polifce registered a case in Crime No.899 of 2022 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 355 and 427 IPC.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a victim. He would further submit that this is a case in counter. He would further submit that the investigation in this case has not been properly conducted by the respondent Police. Hence, the petitioner seeks transfer of investigation..
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the investigation in this case has been completed and charge sheet is made ready and the charge sheet will be filed before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks.
5. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the third respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime Nos.898 and 899 of 2022 and file a charge sheet before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 09.02.2024 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No TSG 3/5
