ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to afford permission for conducting the festival on the 18th day of Tamil month Aadi 2022 on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 13.07.2022.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner sent a representation, dated 13.07.2022, seeking permission for conducting the festival on the 18th day of Tamil Month Aadi 2022. But, till now no action has been taken. Hence this petition has been filed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the respondent police is ready to consider the petitioner's representation. 4.In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to consider the representation, dated 13.07.2022, on or before 01.08.2022, on merit and in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
