By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard Mr.VOS.Kalaiselvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Senthil Ayyanar, learned Government Advocate appearing for Respondent Nos.1 to 3.

3. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the terminal benefits of Rs.56,051/- (Rupees Fifty Six Thousand and Fifty One only) together with interest to the petitioner.

4. Mr.VOS.Kalaiselvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner retired from service on 30.06.2007 due to superannuation. But, the portion of terminal benefits amounting to Rs.56,051/- (Rupees Fifty Six Thousand and Fifty One only) has not been paid to the 2/5

petitioner sofar. The petitioner has calculated the above figure by giving the following table:- No Head Amount Deduction made towards General Provident Fund for the month of June 2007 Rs.1,672/- Security Deposit Rs.3,000/- Earned Leave for 191 days Rs.51,379/- Total Rs.56,051/-

5. The petitioner has given a representation before the first respondent on 14.06.2021. Since the representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

6. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
