This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the R1 and R2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner for his life and limb within time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of property to an extent of 1 acre and 63 cents in Thirupachethy South Village, Sivagangai District. He has also filed a suit in O.S.No.193 of 2019 on the file of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruppuvanam and got decree in his favour. However, the respondents 3 and 4 are interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner. Therefore, he has sent a representation to the respondent police on 02.07.2024, but no action has been taken. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that there is a dispute between the parties in respect of properties. They have preferred an appeal against the decree in O.S.No. 193 of 2019 and the petition for condonation of delay is pending before the appellate Court. However, police protection cannot be granted for property dispute.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that they have received the petitioner's representation and the same is under enquiry. They will conduct enquiry and dispose the same within a period of 15 days. 5.Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner and the representation is pending before the 2nd respondent for consideration, this Court hereby direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose the same, after affording opportunities to both parties within a period of 15 days from the date of this order, in accordance with law. 6.With the above observations and directions, this petition stands disposed of.
