Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely "Innisai Katcheri" scheduled to be held on 31.03.2017 at night in connection with the "Panguni Festival" in "Arulmigu Sri Muthumariamman Kovil" at Mullikulam Village, Puliyankudi, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.B.Kumaresan For Respondents : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Innisai Katcheri in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.It is seen from the records that on 10.03.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered.

Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 10.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
