C-60. To modify the condition No.9(i) imposed by this Honble Court in Crl.M.P.(MD) No.5111 of 2026 in Crl.A.(MD) No.299 of 2026 dated 20.04.2026.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble N.Anand Venkatesh J.) This petition has been filed seeking modification of one of the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.M.P.(MD) No.5111 of 2026 in Crl.A.(MD) No.299 of 2026 dated 20.04.2026, while suspending the sentence to the effect that out of two sureties, one should be a blood relative.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for the State of TN appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the grounds raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the first condition imposed by this Court is modified as follows: (i) the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with two sureties, of whom one should be a relative (paternal uncle), for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, Shencottah;

4. The Trial Court in this case is the Principal Sessions Court (Mahila Court), Tenkasi District. However, due to oversight, it has been mentioned as learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Madurai District. Hence, necessary correction shall be carried out at paragraph No.1 of the order and the copy shall be marked to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Tenkasi District.

5. The other conditions imposed by this Court, vide order dated 20.04.2026 shall stand as they are.
