PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to pass orders on the proposal dated 29.11.2016 submitted by the 5th respondent for approval of the petitioner's appointment as P.G.Assistant (Zoology) with effect from 05.10.2016, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to pass orders on the proposal dated 29.11.2016 submitted by the fifth respondent for approval of the petitioner's appointment as P.G. Assistant (Zoology) with effect from 05.10.2016. 2.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, is inclined to pass the following direction:- 2(a).The fourth respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the proposal, dated 29.11.2016, submitted by the fifth respondent for approval of the appointment of petitioner as P.G. Assistant (Zoology) with effect from date of his appointment, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
