O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the Petitioner's daugther namely, Ilakiya, daughter of Balu, aged 30 years from the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set her at liberty.
2.According to the Petitioner, during the lawful wedlock, she is blessed with four male and one female children and one among them was the detenue herein. It is further stated that the detenue after successfully completing her M.Com degree, is working as Teacher in Joseph School, at Senthil Nagar, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli. However, she is missing from 17.10.2020 and hence, a Criminal case in Crime No.1502 of 2020 was registered by the second respondent based on the complaint given by the Petitioner under the caption ''women missing''. But so far no action was taken and hence the present Habeas Corpus Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.1015 of 2020 3.When the case is taken up for hearing today, the detenue and the third respondent appeared before this Court through videoconferencing from the Additional Public Prosecutor's Office. On enquiry, the detenue would state that on 17.10.2020, she left to Chennai and married the third respondent Ganesan on 18.10.2020 and both are residing at Chennai. It is also stated that the third respondent is the relative of the detenue.
4.In the light of the above statement, no further adjudication is required in this Habeas Corpus Petition and accordingly, the same stands closed.
