This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 3 to follow the decision taken in the peace committee meeting held on 28.07.2016 in letter and spirit manner and consequently to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. It appears that a peace committee meeting was conducted by the Tahsildar, Thiruvengadam, on 28.07.2016, in which, it was resolved that two groups of Dalits should bury their differences and conduct the Santhanamariamman Temple Festival on 09.08.2016 and 10.08.2016 without creating any law and order problem. the petitioner has given a representation dated 26.08.2016 and has filed the present writ petition with the above prayer.

4. The learned Additional Government pleader submitted that the temple celebrations got over on 09.08.2016 and 10.08.2016.
